Abstract: Public history is a significant field of education that teaches people about their past. However, it still does not exist in countries like Egypt, which is in great need of the field to link Egyptians with their history. This article discusses the current situation in Egypt regarding public history and why it should be introduced to Egyptians. In addition, suggestions are made on how to present the field to Egyptians academically and publicly.
