Abstract: We present to the readers of “Testi e Linguaggi” a Canto from the new translation of the Comedy that will be published in Brazil, made by three Brazilian translators, professors and researchers: Emanuel França de Brito, Maurício Santana Dias e Pedro Falleiros Heise. A first version of Canto XIII of Dante’s Inferno is offered below, pointing out that it is a work in progress whose publication (first part) is scheduled for 2021.
