La mia esperienza nel paese del Sol Levante

Abstract

L’articolo che presento racconta delle esperienze personali ambientate in Giappone dal punto di vista di un “forestiero” occidentale, un outsider, o gaijin in giapponese. Tramite una serie di episodi di vita vissuta, ho cercato di mettere in luce le problematiche riguardo l’integrazione nella società giapponese per coloro che “vengono da fuori” e il modo in cui parte del popolo nipponico percepisce e tratta il “diverso”, o più semplicemente il “non-giapponese”

The article I am presenting describes some personal experiences in Japan from the point of view of a Western “foreigner”, an outsider, or gaijin in Japanese. Through a series of life episodes, I have tried to highlight the problems regarding integration into Japanese society for those who “come from outside” and the way in which most Japanese perceive and treat the “different”, or more simply the “non-Japanese”.
