dc.description.abstract | This study is dedicated to the historical origins of Mediterranean-European law of antiquity. The
same is placed to the crossroad of the three academicals connected subjects: Greek law, ancient law
of Middle East and Roman law. The sources of Greek law are represented by the International
treaties of cities-States until the Emperor Alexander the Great (1496 B.C. – 330 B.C.). The
diplomatic sources of ancient Middle East are constituted by the texts of international conventions
of Iranian Empire and of many States of Arabic and Islamic peoples (from 330 B.C. to 628 A.D.).
Finally, the international agreements of roman peoples (populi romani) are examined from the birth
of Rome, until the age of Republic and Empire (Occident Roman Empire and Oriental Roman
Empire). The deadline of this study is represented from the beginning of jus gentium Europaeum,
understood as a crossroad between East-West side. | it_IT |
