This article presents the findings of an exploratory study conducted within the CPM 4.0 project, which aimed to improve the professional training of social workers and volunteers in preventing and managing male violence against women in Basilicata, and uses these results as a basis for broader reflections on the overall training needs of professionals in this field. The study highlights the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, integrating legal, social, healthcare, and security expertise with psychotherapeutic interventions. It also emphasizes the need for a coordinated network of services and ongoing training supervision. This case study provides valuable insights into improving intervention strategies through comprehensive and integrated professional development.
