Abstract: This paper proposes an analysis of the main methodologies, techniques and trends which have recently gained acceptance in the business translation field. In particular the phenomenon of company web sites localization is highlighted by analyzing the translation act related to the combination of heterogeneous elements/factors, even of textual nature, which form a web page. This process makes the page available in two or more languages and so accessible to a vast target from a geographic, linguistic and cultural point of view.
