Abstract: Il saggio tenta di sondare, analizzando le canzoni proposte, la relazione figurale: corpo-testo e sentimento patriottico del Leopardi ventenne. Ed assieme mette in evidenza, proprio a partire dal periodo preso esame (1818), decostruita la suddetta relazione figurale, l’attivazione del nuovo codice lirico, che darà vita agli idilli.
Leopardi’s lyrical-theoretical momentum, which goes back to the year 1818, is an attempt to explore the figural relationshipin two canzone (‘All’Italia’ e ‘Sopra il monumento di Dante che si preparava in Firenze) i nterms of the body-text and the patriotic sentiment of the young poet. On the basis of a deconstructed figuration, these two aspects indicate, as early as 1818, a new lyrical code in the making, which will give life to hid idylls.
