Abstract: This paper deals with the Environmental Impact Assessment (VIA) and in particular with the transformation, on the impetus of the Community Legislator, which the institute has undergone over time, from a simple preventive opinion to a real process that constantly directs environmental policy choices with a view to sustainable development.
