relazioni nazionali e internazionali. Espone i
colore, segno e spazio, confini e libertà espressiva.
Born in Sicily, Antonio Freiles has exhibited his artworks in major European Biennials and in the most important private and public museums in the world, including the Tate Gallery, the White Chapel in London and the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris. His paintings explore the connection between space and sign, architecture and light, borders and expressive freedom. Three activities can be recognized through the course of Freiles’ career: the series of paintings executed on handmade paper made of cellulose, called Chartae; a large art book collection and the «Carte d’Arte Internazionale» magazine of wich he was the editor. |
