Abstract
L’esilio repubblicano spagnolo
fu il risultato della sconfitta
repubblicana nel 1939 da parte
dell’esercito franchista, guidato dal
generale Francisco Franco. Circa
mezzo milione di persone dovettero
andare in esilio nei mesi di gennaio e
febbraio, attraverso i valichi francesi.
Molti altri esuli lo fecero, mesi
dopo, da Alicante alle coste del Nord
Africa.
