Il Parlaggio nel film 'Il cattivo poeta'. Fonti inedite del teatro all'aperto di Gabriele d'Annunzio

Abstract

«Una conca marmorea sotto le stelle» è l’idea che Gabriele d’Annunzio aveva in mente quando immaginava un teatro all’aperto. Il sogno di possederne uno lo ha accompagnato per tutta la vita e solo quando dopo l’impresa di Fiume si ritirò sul Lago di Garda pensò concretamente alla realizzazione di questo progetto. A coadiuvarlo fu Gian Carlo Maroni, l’architetto delle pietre. Un teatro all’aperto e non un anfiteatro come si legge nella comunicazione di oggi e nel recente film ‘Il cattivo poeta’ (2021).

«A marble basin under the stars» is the idea Gabriele d'Annunzio had in mind when he imagined an open air theatre. The dream of owning one accompanied him throughout his life and it was only when he retired to Lake Garda after his exploit at Fiume that he actually thought about realising this project. Assisting him was Gian Carlo Maroni, the architect of the stones. An open-air theatre and not an amphitheatre as we read in today's media and in the recent film ‘Il cattivo poeta’ (2021).
