La Public History of Education del MuSEd. Tre casi di studio del territorio romano: fotografie, quaderni scolastici e albi illustrati
Abstract
According to recent studies, museums are important spaces for implementing public history practices. The Museo della Scuola e dell’Educazione “Mauro Laeng”
of the Department of Education at Roma Tre University is no exception. However, critical studies have only highlighted a portion of the potential that its historical-educational
sources can offer within the domain of the Public History of Education. This contribution
aims to enhance MuSEd’s sources related to the territory of Rome from a public history perspective. The methodology involves examining three types of sources: photographs, school
notebooks, and illustrated books, ranging from the 20th century to the present day.
